Dâdarshish
Armenian general in Persian service, sent against a nameless Armenian
rebel, who was defeated on May 20, 521 near Zuzza. Other victories were
won on May 30 at Tigra and on June 20 at Uyamâ. At the same time,
there was another Persian army fighting against the Armenians; it was commanded
by Vaumisa, who was just as successful as Dâdarshish.
After June 520, Armenia was subjected again.
