DAVID KING INDEX

David King (1819-1894) was the most prominent member of the second generation of British Churches of Christ. Conservative in his sympathies, he was a successful evangelist, magazine publisher and debater. Although he was a native of London, he spent much of his life in Birmingham. King wrote the conference papers for 1873, 1876, 1877, 1883, and 1892 and was President in 1870, 1874, and 1878. His biography, was published as part of the "Memoir of David King."
